I am a student in the Master of Communication in Digital Media (MCDM) program at the University of Washington. A program that is at the forefront of (as much as I hate to use the term) the digital revolution. I was asked to photograph some of the goings on as the school year began. This included orientation for the incoming cohort and the first episode of MediaSpace on UWTV as well as the TedxChange simulcast at the University of Washington in Seattle. I made a nice picture of Bill Gates Sr., who spoke at TedXChange Seattle.
This picture is nothing special. It was shot under low light at a high ISO (I love the high ISO of the Canon 5D Mark II). I just really like the expression on Mr. Gates’ face for some reason.
