I photographed an historic game Sunday. It was the first time and NFL team with a losing record hosted a playoff game. Regardless of the outcome of the game I would be remiss for not making a photo not reflecting that fact. Alas, the Seahawks were supposed to have been blown out by the New Orleans Saints. Not only did the Seahawks keep it close, they beat the Saints and in doing so, the fans set off a small seismic event as reported by the Seattle Times here, following the longest and most amazing 67-yard touchdown runs in Seahawks history by Marshawn Lynch, part of which is pictured below including a backwards flop into the endzone. I was in a pretty good spot to photograph the run. I was across the field at about the fifteen or twenty-yard line. At first it just seemed like a really long six-yard run. Long in that it was taking Lynch forever to get six yards, but then he popped out into open field and made a few people miss.  Toward the end of the run the buffer on my camera filled up. More photographs from the game after the break.
